Hon. Lady Justice Bamugumereire after being awarded her honorary doctorate

On Saturday July 13, 2019, Court of Appeal's Hon Lady Justice Catherine Khakasa Bamugumereire was awarded Honorary Doctorate degree of Christian Mission by Zoe Theological College USA at an event that took place at Kampala Serena Hotel.

The same University also honored her with a Peace and Justice Honorary Award for her role in fighting for humanity and advocating for land justice as Chairperson of the Commission of Inquiry into Land Matters.

The function was presided over by Deputy Speaker, Hon. Jacob Oulanyah who also received an Honorary Doctorate of Humanity from the same University.
